We are an NCAA Division II school located in Chadron, Nebraska. As part of the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference, we compete against some of the best teams in the nation! This is our 5th year with a cross country program and we have continuously grown our numbers as well as finished increasingly better in both our conference and our region. A trio of new runners will join Chadron State College cross country in the fall of 2017 after signing National Letters of Intent with the college in the fall early signing period, according to CSC head cross country coach Brian Medigovich.

Chadron State College cross country runners Eric Yager and Alejandro Garcia were awarded All-Academic by the USTFCCCA coaches' association for the 2016 season, becoming the first-ever men's cross country athletes at CSC to earn the honor.

Both Chadron State College cross country teams opened the season by finishing second at the South Dakota Mines Invitational Meet at Robbinsdale Park in Rapid City on Saturday morning.

Both Chadron State College cross country teams lived up to expectations Saturday while running away with most of the top placings in their fifth annual meet.

With sophomore Alyse Henry and senior Nicky Banzhaf finishing together to set the pace, the Chadron State College women's cross country team finished 15th among the 43 teams at the 38th annual Roy Griak Invitational Meet on Saturday at the University of Minnesota.

With sophomore Riley Howard leading the way, the Chadron State College men's cross country team finished tied for fourth among the 11 teams - nine of them collegiate - at the 44th annual Western Washington University Cross Country Classic on Saturday at Western Washington University.

The Chadron State College women placed ninth and the men were 10th among the 15 teams in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Championships on Saturday at the CSC campus. Both of the Eagles' pacesetters are Chadron native. Nicky Banzhaf finished 27th over the women's 6 kilometer course in 23:10. 5 and Phil Duncan led the CSC men by placing 46th in the 8K in 27:01.3.

The Chadron State College women's team placed ninth and the men were 15th at the NCAA Division II South Central Region Cross Country Championships at Canyon, Texas, on Saturday.  There were 27 women's teams and 28 men's teams in the competition, which wrapped up the season for the Eagles.
